10/4 - Walktoberfest registration This is the last day to register for Walktoberfest in order to receive a T-shirt and raffle ticket. Walktoberfest takes place Oct. 21. Rose La Mantia will have registration forms at the Oct. 4 general meeting. Check or credit card will be accepted.
10/4 - General meeting
The October meeting will be held at 7 p.m. at the Columbia Country Club. Danita Rife of the Women's and Children's Hospital will speak about pediatric diabetes.
10/21 - Walktoberfest
The annual walk to prevent and cure diabetes will be at 2 p.m. at the Lamb Shelter in Cosmopolitan Park. Plenty of food and fun will follow, including live music and prizes.
10/23 - Board meeting
The Show-Me Cosmopolitan board will meet at 5:30 p.m. at the Jerry Sigmund Cosmopolitan Building.
11/1 - General meeting
The November meeting will be held at the Columbia Country Club.
