A REMINDER:
Nominating Committee: Serious decisions may need to be made.
Our club has been without a President-Elect this year.  We also know that Bill Tetro will not be our treasurer next year. (he has served for 2 terms, and so has Kay Brejcha as Secretary) The Board does not have a full slate of officers for the coming year.  Suggestions/volunteers would be appreciated.

Minutes from the Board Meeting
Show-Me Cosmopolitan Club
May 25, 2021
The May meeting was a combination meeting – meeting at President Tim Echternach’s home and on Zoom.
Attendance:
Those in attendance were Brett Benton, Kay Brejcha, Sara & Tim Echternach, Bill Giddings, Elaine McCoy, Brian McNeill, Bill Tetro, and Dayton Shepherd.

Web Site Domain and change over from Club Runner:
Dayton Shepherd discussed the web site domain.  Dayton hopes for a demonstration at the delegates meeting at MO-KAN.  The new web site should do the newsletter.  We will have a time period to transfer all the information on club runner to the new site so we will not lose data.  Card payments would be made thru PayPal.
There were several questions and discussion.  Many of these were tied to the budget for the coming year since at this time costs for any of the choices are “up in the air”.
A final decision on just using our web site or going to the international site will be made at the June twenty-second board meeting after we have more information.

Treasurer’s Report:
Bill Tetro gave a detailed Treasurer’s report including new budget.
He recently moved $2000.00 from our investment account to our checking.  This was an action that had been approved previously.
The cost of using the building was discussed.  Not knowing this amount will make that part of the budget more tentative.  Dayton noted that in the past there was not a charge for using the building for a board meetings and general meetings.  But there was a charge to use the building for fundraisers.
Brett made the motion to approve the budget including changes concerning club runner.  Sara seconded the motion.  The motion passes.
Bill Tetro will present the new budget at the June meeting.
